Issue

You may encounter an issue with the Ephesoft home page not loading after starting Transact. The page may continually attempt to load without an error or may throw a generic session timeout error.

Root Cause

A potential root cause is a dependency has not loaded as expected. One common culprit is LibreOffice dependency.

Workaround

1. Open Task Manager.
2. Go to Details.

3. Search for soffice.bin and soffice.exe.
4. If you do not see these running during Ephesoft startup, you can start this manually by going to [Ephesoft_Directory]\Dependencies\libreoffice\App\libreoffice\program and double-clicking the soffice.exe application. This will manually start the required LibreOffice application.
